There are milestones that every author holds quietly in their heart, and this one is absolutely one of mine. On November 16, I had the opportunity to appear on WGN Chicago with anchors Sean Lewis and Jewell Hillery to discuss Dominion: Ascension and the journey behind the book.
WGN has long been a staple in Chicago broadcasting, and stepping inside the studio felt surreal in the best way. The energy backstage was warm and welcoming.
Jewell Hillery brought such thoughtful questions to the conversation. We talked about my journey back to writing from asking people about their favorite books. We discussed the world of Dominion, the inspiration behind Dani’s journey, and the themes that make the book resonate with readers — truth, power, identity, and the pathways we choose when our world begins to change.
